ACME LAUNCH FIELD

Since 2025, our launch field has been located on the land of the Canal dei Cuori Farm, at Via Padova, 1655 in Loreo (Rovigo).
Coordinates: 45° 4’41.44″N / 12°10’15.53″E – The site is not far from Adria, a more popular destination.

The field has a large parking area and a fixed roof under which you can set up your own launch site, eliminating the need to bring a gazebo. ACME has a storage container on site for its launch equipment.

Running water and electricity (220V) are available. Restrooms are available at the property’s main warehouse, a short distance from the launch area.

ACCESS

The property is fenced and accessed through a gate that is normally locked. During daily meetings, please call to have the gate opened (Vyger 338 4582623). During MARS and MIR meetings, the gate remains open all day. After passing the gate, follow the dirt road to the launch point. Directional arrows will be provided along the road.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE
Everyone. It doesn’t matter whether you’re an ACME member or not. You can even just come to watch. If you come to launch more than twice, you’ll need to join ACME, as indicated elsewhere on this site. If you prefer, you can join ACME directly on the field.

EQUIPMENT
If you’re launching your rockets, bring a small table with at least one chair. There’s no need to bring umbrellas or a gazebo, as you’ll sit under the roof, which provides shade all day. In the summer, bring high SPF sunscreen and plenty of water. Bring your own tools so you don’t have to borrow everything. Be self-sufficient, but don’t bring a launch pad or control unit; ACME equipment is used. If your model requires a special pad, we’re sorry; modify it. If it doesn’t fit ACME pads, it’s non-standard and probably not suitable at all.

WHAT TIME DO LAUNCHES START?
Usually around 10:30 in the morning.

WEATHER
You can check it on 3B Meteo. In case of uncertain weather, call Vyger from 8:00 a.m. on the morning of the launch day at 338 4582623.

SHOES
In spring/autumn/winter, bring boots or shoes suitable for mud and humidity.

LUNCH
You can bring your own. During the meetings, it may be possible to arrange for sandwiches or other food to be served, but this will be communicated on a case-by-case basis.
